   My dear Apramana,

   You are seriously underestimating the danger that Obama could pose to Sri Lanka. Remember he is a democrat and a liberal. We may like to dislike Bush, but he has been very good to Sri Lanka in terms of tightening the screws on the LTTE. A democratic senator, especially a peace love and understanding one as full of rhetoric as Obama, could be a disaster from a Sri Lankan perspective. So let’s not promote him. Sri Lanka needs a Republican in the White House, especially at this important juncture in the war.

   For my information… What is there in Obama for us (Sri Lankans) which Hilary or any other does not have?

   When some change happens in US it will directly effect to countries like ours. So we are waiting for that positive change in our favor.

   And another thing… when US election take place, our war will be over if it is go like this.

   Yes, we are watching the change he is going to do in US. His grandmother is still lives in a rural village in Kenya.
