[Update] HotShare file sharing site aded to the list.
Free file hosting which most people looking for. So I thought to list down some long list of free file hosting and sharing sites. Some sites does require registered account and some doesn’t. And also some sites containing full of ads, but no harm for file sharing. Some have monthly bandwidth limits, some have maximum file size of uploading file and some have file hosting/sharing period conditions for particular files.
The best one I like from the list if DivShare, which is pretty fast, easy to use. This is also providing a plug-in for WordPress as well as Facebook which will replacing default file uploader of WordPress with DivShare Uploader and we can embed those uploaded files in our blog post very easily.

Good to see some stuff apart from the most hated MegaUpload and RapidShare. Hopefully these sites will be much more useful. Thanks for the info.
P.S. - What about GDrive (I think). I think it allows you to use your Gmail space.
@ John
Yeh These are some good stuffs but some sites in this list has interrupted by bad advertisements all around the website.
And regarding GDrive thing I would say Gspace is the best and I am using it as my pen drive now (now I have a 3GB pen drive
). But we cant use this Gmail space to share files. This is only for private use.
Good work… Great info…
Hope you’re not so tired after a hard research.
I’m also sick of MegaUpload and RapidShare. Now I can use any of these in the list, Specially DivShare, which you’ve recomended. Got to try.
Thanks a lot!
You are welcome SRIshanu

What about ZShare? That’s one of the best.
I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100% regarding File Hosting Sites Wrap-up at Apramana | Beyond Dimensions, but it’s just my opinion, which could be wrong
