Graded Browser Support

I have found a good article in Yahoo! UI Library regarding Graded Browser Supports. This article includes some History & Rationale of Graded Browser Support. This article also describing the meaning of the term “Support” and What are Grades of Support including Identified vs. Unknown, Capable vs. Incapable, Modern vs. Antiquated, Common vs. Rare. And also this article describing about The Three Grades of Support and then with the brief about Quality Assurance (QA) Testing. It also displaying A-Grade Browser Support Chart at the top of the article.

This article is ending like this;

Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web and director of the W3C, has said it best:

“Anyone who slaps a ‘this page is best viewed with Browser X’ label on a Web page appears to be yearning for the bad old days, before the Web, when you had very little chance of reading a document written on another computer, another word processor, or another network.”
