My dear Apramana,

You are seriously underestimating the danger that Obama could pose to Sri Lanka. Remember he is a democrat and a liberal. We may like to dislike Bush, but he has been very good to Sri Lanka in terms of tightening the screws on the LTTE. A democratic senator, especially a peace love and understanding one as full of rhetoric as Obama, could be a disaster from a Sri Lankan perspective. So let’s not promote him. Sri Lanka needs a Republican in the White House, especially at this important juncture in the war.
