Vote for MyConferenceTime.com as the oDesk Site of the Month Contest.

oDesk is the marketplace for online workteams, with the best business model for both buyers and providers. Each of the websites included was built by oDesk providers in collaboration with their oDesk buyers.

MyConferenceTime.com allows teachers to post their available conference times online so that parents can instantly sign up for a meeting. Email confirmations are sent to the teacher and parent.

    Powder Process Design Services Ltd is an UK based design, manufacture and supply of powder processing solutions to serve the needs of companies in sectors like Industrial Minerals, Chemicals, Ceramics and Recycling.

    When PPDS approached Minlo Technologies site was out dated and suffered from design as well as usability challenges. PPDS Founder, Nigel Thomas wanted this to be redesign in very short period of time and launch soon after that.

    As a web development firm, Minlo’s responsibility was to develop a standard compliant website with information architect, graphic design, user interface design, implementing accessibility, usability, JavaScript development and finally cross browser compatible.

    When using fonts on websites, font should display it’s all properties & styles on all or most web browsers which runs on different platforms like Windows, Mac or Linux. Unfortunately we don’t have much fonts which supported on all web browsers & platforms. So fonts which are working on all or most web browsers are called Web Safe Fonts.

    • WCAG 2.0 and W3C mobileOK Basic Tests 1.0 Proposed Recommendation

    WAI has announced that WCAG 2.0 has moved to Proposed Recommendation. So now only one step away to becoming a W3C Recommendation and hopefully December it will be.

    Proposed Recommendation means is that the guidelines have reviewed by the community and also tested on real world websites. Now anyone can start using this even though it’s not official yet!

    In other news the mobileOK Basic Tests also moved into Proposed Recommendation. So home this will help to solve mobile web and web accessibility issues.

    • List of Sri Lankan Radio Stations and Online Streams

    [UPDATE - Tuesday, March 31, 2009] NethFM online stream replaced with their new stream link.

    [UPDATE - Wednesday, March 18, 2009] New Sri Lankan Online Community Radio, Sinha FM has been added. It’s on air from Doha, Qatar. Sinha FM is a none profitable on line radio for all our expats working in out side of our mother land..

    [UPDATE - Monday, July 2, 2007] I have removed Minsara Online Radio as I found they are using V FM live stream.

    [UPDATE] I have re-ordered and index the list by alphabetical order. Hope this will be much more readable than before.

    Here I am listing some good Sri Lankan Radio Stations and Music Portals with their online streaming feed. Remember some radio streaming feeds they providing are not valid, so in here I have tried my best to avoid those invalid feeds.
